CDA will be hosting Ballet Folclórico do Brasil on Sat 3/7 at 11 AM in the auditorium! This event brings Brazil's vibrant culture to life through explosive dance, live music, and stunning costumes — all rooted in African, Portuguese, and Indigenous traditions. Your kids will see samba, capoeira (a martial art disguised as dance!), Carnival celebrations, and live percussion instruments like the berimbau and pandeiro. It's a full-sensory journey through Brazil's history, resilience, and joy.

The performance is led by Joselito "Amen" Santo, a Bahia-born dancer, martial artist, and choreographer who has performed at Carnegie Hall and founded L.A.'s Brasil Brasil Cultural Center. He's been bringing this tradition to American audiences since 1986.
